Fun, Intelligent, Exciting are all words used to describe the Icelandic Sheepdog! Bred to be an all-around farm dog, these happy dogs make great additions to many types of families! They excel in just about anything they are introduced to. They love to have a job to do with their "people" but have a great "off-switch".

This AKC program recognizes breeders’ involvement and successes in AKC events and the dedication to completing health testing of all breeding stock. We are thrilled that our Icelandic Sheepdog Puppies are representing the breed so well. As Icelandic Sheepdog Breeders, we are honored.

Our Journey

We found the amazing Icelandic Sheepdog breed over 15 years ago and it was love at first sight. We appreciated their jovial spirit and sound work ethic: we knew they were special. We started with two special Icies, Puck and Tati and we have never looked back!

We love producing Icelandic Sheepdog puppies who become top ranked show dogs and performance dogs, it makes us so proud. But what we love the most is seeing updates from our puppies in loving forever homes, living their best life. We are incredibly thankful for those who have opened their hearts and homes to a Caradoc dog.

As we continue as breeders, Breed preservation is incredibly important to us in planning the future.

We do not have any Icelandic Sheepdog puppies currently available. However, we do have an exciting Icelandic Sheepdog litter planned for the second half 2024!

The National Specialty

Icelandic Sheepdog Association of America National

The National is a yearly event that showcases what an amazing breed we have! Breeders, owners and fanciers travel from all over to attend. The location typically changes every year and includes different events from Conformation, Agility, Obedience, Rally, Barn Hunt and Fast CAT!
