Glen of Imaal : About The Breed

We are so excited and honored that Caradoc is a Breeder of Merit for Glen of Imaal Terriers.

This AKC program recognizes breeders’ involvement and successes in AKC events and the dedication to completing health testing of all breeding stock. We are thrilled that our Glen of Imaal Puppies are representing the breed so well. As Glen of Imaal Breeders, we are honored.

We happened to learn about the Glen of Imaal Terrier about 20 years ago through training classes that we were teaching. They are incredibly smart dogs with a loyalty like none other. Our first Glen of Imaal terrier puppy just happened to find us through a breeder who was looking for a show home, and the rest is history.

We love showing our Glens in all venues including performance and conformation. They are wonderful working partners who enjoy being challenged and learning new things. 

As Glen of Imaal breeders, when planning for our next generation of Glen of Imaal puppies we focus on sound temperament and structure as both are incredibly important for the puppies' future- This priority is the same whether they are going to be shown or not.  While we love seeing our dogs win in the show ring, what we are most proud of is seeing updates from our puppies in loving forever homes, living their best life.
